I've been up for a very long time...

There's an endurance challenge going at fslashland. I've now been up for 26 hours, but only, like, 11 of those count for the challenge. Something like 11, anyway. idk.

I have, however, moved from the living room where it is cold and sort of meh. I am now curled happily in amongst blankets and pillows. Watching Midsomer Murders. It is Troy episodes, and while he is nice, Ben Jones is my sergeant of choice, but I've only one left with him, so I'm stretching it out a bit.

eta: also, there is surprise!Dream Lord as an obnoxious little coroner (the DL would be proud of his indifference)

26 hours?!? Wow, that's impressive! Are you aiming for the full 24 hours for the challnge? Because won't that make it like 37 hours awake or something?!? Crazyness!

I don't think I'll manage it. I'm fading as it is, sadly.

Careful with the sleep deprivation. I did two straight all-nighters in the middle of a no-sleep high-stress week last September, and when it sort of ended, this was the limits of my mental capacity and grasp of the English language:

(I lived that week, and wrote that entry about it, but I couldn't tell you what half of that post is meant to convey.)

I think it was Christmas before I could once again spell two syllable words without a dictionary.
