I don't... I don't really have a lot to say. Mostly, I am so fucking disappointed in this show. They've always criminally underused Tiffany Hines as Jaden, but to bring her back and give her something to work with and then just kill her off?

That is so fucking fail. What was the point of that? They might as well have just used some faceless newbie no one knew, for all the good it does.

I am angry, too. It's the sort of bullshit BSG pulled. Need to kill someone? Can't kill a man, another woman has to go! Or Stargate: Atlantis.

Now I feel sort of meh about the rest of the season. I'll watch it, but I'm not really breathless with anticipation.

Also, I fucking hate Nikita/Michael. It is so by the numbers and uninteresting, I have a hard time not fast-forwarding through their scenes. Especially when Michael is all emomanpain. (I'm actually fucking enraged that we have to suffer standard bad movie love affairs while they kill off a woman--yeah, I don't like Alex's dude all that much, either. I'm sort of sad he wasn't working with Jaden to find her out)

I KNOW!!! I haven't watched the latest episode yet but now, I'm not sure I want to.

Jaden was SUCH an awesome character (ya know, those few times they actually gave her something to do) and they just kill her off?! WHY?! There was SO much potential there!

UGH! Why not kill off Alex's irritating boyfriend or that annoying computer guy? OH, that's right: they're men.

YES. It's just such waste. There is so much they could have done with her, and they just didn't. It makes me so fucking frustrated I'm saying fuck all the time.

I sort of want to see how the season plays out, but I sort of have the suspicion I'll be writing some sort of AU scenario fic.

I'll probably cave and watch the last few episodes but I've definitely lost a bit of the investment I recently devloped in this show. And I'll absolutely read that AU if/when you write it :)

UGH, yeah, was not happy at all. It killed my buzz I was riding last week, WHY? WHY COULD YOU NOT JUST USE HER!?!?!?!?!

The thing I keep telling myself to get through the rage is that we still have Nikita, Alex, and Amanda. Yes, there are still more men, and yes, one of them should have died. But still, three awesome women is more than some shows give us (though I still need moar Amanda).

But I like Michael/Nikita. But other than that WE ARE AGREED ON THE RAGE.

I'm still kinda ragey about it. It's sad.

And I think Michael/Nikita wouldn't bother me (I actually think it's brilliant that the show didn't do the willthey/won'tthey for five seasons or whatever, and I love that they talk, and it's not a conventional thing/but sort of is at the same time---AND ALSO HOW IT IS OK FOR BOTH OF THEM TO LOVE MORE THAN ONE PERSON. Like, 75% of the time, I don't really mind it [er, aside from not caring about Michael's Angst])--wouldn't bother me, that is, if Alex wasn't ALSO in a relationship?

Also, with the sort of... um... "women need a man to have a fulfilling life" slant that it sort of takes (not helped by the recent Guardian Plot where the female guardian found ~love~) -- I think they're trying not to give it that slant, but they're not really working hard enough/showing the other possibilities.

I also think it's less the writers and more the fault of executive meddling? Like how the Owen and CIA-guy thing was all overtly "Nikita needs a man"? -- and that came about because they were told to bring in more female viewers, iirc.
