You know you've processed, requested and sorted through too many W-9 forms when you have a dream wherein people are telling each other that hamsters do not have opposable thumbs and therefore, cannot sign or turn in a W-9 form.

I tend to dream about improperly filled out W-4 forms, myself. Oh, wait, that's real life. (Will the US government please please please issue a Spanish version of that form, please . . . )

I feel your pain. We get a ridiculous amount of wrongly-filled out forms. (and it would be nice if they did that, too)

Sadly there's no form that can cure moron-syndrome. We recently had a guy spell his own name wrong (his wife called to correct it weeks later), as well as his town and the name of his street. Or, basically, the only three words on the whole form. See, this is what happens when you don't read your fake ID before using it to apply for a job . . .

But the Spanish speakers tend to give it an honest try, and more often than not they get the right information onto the form, it's just in all the wrong boxes.

...oh gods, may I never start dreaming about work. :)

Fannish dreams are much better. Even when they are surreal & make no sense.

I used to try this argument all the time. Sadly, despite my hamster suit no one ever believed me....
