ramblings... you, ooohhh, come back to me...

I realised something. I haven't watched Angel once this season. And it isn't like I couldn't, either. I'm home on Sunday nights.

Buffy? Yes, oddly. But I've been taping and watching later.

Hell, I make more effort to watch CSI than I do Buffy/Angel. Or Firefly. Except when some fucking sports game is on, so it gets pre-empted.

Speaking of... Last week, after Tuesday's Buffy, I read that there had been a really, really gross demon. Since I don't get it till Friday, I could hardly wait. When I did see it, I wasn't grossed out. In fact, I was kinda... bored. Sadly.

Probably the reason for this is that CSI on Thursday was MUCH sicker.

Demons eating human flesh are not as squicky as PCP-hyped teens eating human flesh.

hrm. Things to do.

IMO...

The flesh eating monster wasn't scary as much as it was creepy. Good old Buffy creepy. Haven't seen that in a while. Like something out of a children's tale, horrific looking, strips of flesh eating, and the things it said, *that* was the creepy part. Like nursery rhimes, IIRC.

CSI, on the other hand, is fun and good and icks with the TMI-camera and the sometimes (usually?) squicky murders... and Warrick and Sara.

(Angel, btw, is actually something I enjoy watching. even if Angel's still with the O, Cordy, I Love Thee! phase. but there's a new gal in town... *g*)

Hee!

It's the classic Buffy coverup story, as done by CSI! "Gang related, PCP." *grin*

"PCP-hyped teens eating human flesh"

My jaw actually dropped with I read that. EW!!

Well, you know... I try to avoid BOTH OF THOSE.
