I learned about this kind of reaction from Pharyngula (http://scienceblogs.com/pharyngula/index.php) when PZ posted a collage of facebook posts full of that shit (http://scienceblogs.com/pharyngula/upload/2011/03/i_hope_these_people_arent_your/GodBlessAmerica.php) but I hoped it'll never get any publicity and stay on the dark corners of the web.

What the hell is WRONG with this ass? Nobody who died or is suffering in this earthquake was responsible for Pearl Harbor. Nobody. People in the amount of zero. The very tiny sampling of humans responsible for that act are already dead. (And even if they weren't, he'd still be wrong.) This is just ignorant racism and hate.

So unless the Family Guy idiot wants to take personal responsibility for the sins of our nation sixty years ago and beyond -- dropping TWO nukes on Japan, internment camps, etc., he can just shut the frak up.

Okay, as both a human being and a fan of Family Guy, I feel the need to jump in and speak up.

What Alec Sulkin said is horrible, and in my opinion completely unforgivable. However, using one awful piece of trash oxygen thief as the basis to judge everyone who works on a show is kind of narrow-sighted itself.

I'm not saying go out and buy every season, I'm just saying don't judge everybody by what this asshole said.

I've seen a lot of that sort of thing around here. My brother (the jerk-y one) tried it, and when I asked him what the HIroshima/Nagasaki death toll was, that shut him up pretty quickly.
