I think I shopped my feet off. Huuuurts.
Today, of course, is the day before I leave for Chicago. Many would say, "But, Lyss, what about Archon?" Fuck Archon, I say. It sucked last year, I highly doubt it will have changed.
So I spent this morning running errands. I bought carrots, and cashed a check and got money, and bought breakfast, and tried to find presents for certain birthday'd people.
I looked at chickens while at Wally world. There were three. And they were all filthy. No dirty chickens, dammit.
Apparently, when I was in the music department (waiting for the one-hour photo to finish on the roll I'd brought in), I was wearing my "O, crazy people, come talk to me." sign. Because this old guy started rambling at me about money. How I should make some, and buy things with it.
No, no, he's still alive. I just ignored him. The temptation to insert the dvds in his orifices passed quickly. I want Chicago, not jailtime.
So. This roll, that I took in, 'cause I found it while clearing my mantle... I wasn't quite sure what it was (I was hoping for Southerncon, or something recenter). It's... DexCon 3. I have pictures of Taps, Mitai, Kales... I believe there are one or two ass-testing shots. I have Hly bowing to AliMc.... And Benway, and scrabble players...
I shall have to scan them on Monday. Or, failing that, Tuesday.

Didn't find head bands at the dollar store. May have to visit another. See, the bangs are just... irritating. As hell. So. Headband, which will keep them back. Hopefully.
I'd wear the halo one, but it's got... halo attached to it.
There were headbands at Big Lots, but they had pipecleaners and spiders and bats attached to them. Somehow, that just wouldn't work for everyday wear.
Anyway. Am full. Mm. Chocolate Milk.
