It is almost Friday.

1. A different take on a modern Sherlock AU =D <3

2. Awesome People of Colour are Awesome: Comment-a-thon.

3. You know what's still going strong? The Awesome Ladies Ficathon. I'm sort of torn about the Parker & Ariadne prompt (on page 84), because I think Sophie would be better at stealing ideas from people in their dreams. But Parker would be an excellent leg-person (she'd be Eames, for those wondering).

4. Someone apparently thinks men are under-represented in fandom. There's now THE MEN'S FICATHON comment thingie. under-represented. Really. WOULD I LIE TO YOU? (please note that the post is directed to "GENTLEMEN, FANBOYS AND DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS"; As I am neither of the first two, I would like my honorary twirly mustache and tux, pls. I have some women to go con.)

5. I wrote a Martha/Tosh drabble: Words to Live By

wait, when they say men are underrepresented in fandom, do they mean male authors, artists, beta readers, and readers?

Well, to be absolutely fair to the dude, I don't think he actually said male characters were under-represented in fandom.

It's possible the other is a definite consideration, though.

do they mean male authors, artists, beta readers, and readers?

That was sort of what I assumed the thing was supposed to be about.

3. I was so sure this was over I should go check it out later I feel experimental and I would love to try writing some of my earlier fandom faves like B'lanna or Kira.
4. The idea in itself isn't such a bad one but the idea that only men will want to write men is idiotic. Personally I would love to try writing Sisko or Worf so it looks like I might check that one out too. Although I need to make actual progress on some of my current big projects before I do anything else.
