ugh, Wednesday
1. Saw Sherlock last night. Enjoyed it, over-all, though was extremely bored through the whole "explaining the villain's psyche" bit and thought that ten minutes really detracted (when Holmes is being Too Stupid To Live, you've lost me). Also found other bits less than interesting (if I'd wanted to watch Spooks, I'd've watched Spooks. At least there would have been Zoe or Ruth).
2. In a week, I should know about the traffic court decision (they said three, it's now been two--if they could hold off two months...)
3. It's been a year since
musicforcylons passed away. I sometimes think of things I want to say to her, and I'm mournful about the Leverage she's missed.
4. Have vague thoughts on DW and Rory, but they're undefined as of now.
5. Covert Affairs: it was ok? Like a low-rent Spooks without the aaaaaaaaaangst, though Kari was awesome and so was Emmanuel Vaugier in her two-minute role. Though the lead's motivation is that her boyfriend of two days left her. Meh. (I keep seeing it compared to Alias, which is puzzling, but I guess they're both about female spies? Alias was like a really awful Charlie's Angels ripoff, though. At least the one episode of it I managed to endure)
Sadly, Drew Barrymore is not in either with red hair.
6. Rizzoli and Isles: billed as a cute buddy-cop drama, the pilot has some graphic "let's rape women" stuff in it which made me turn it off about twenty minutes in. If I'd wanted Touching Evil... I enjoyed some of it. Unfortunately, a large portion of the plot was laughably stupid and revolved around trying to seduce the randomly-inserted FBI guy. R&I were ok outside of that, though.

3. Related- does anyone know
5. It's OK. It's not must see TV, but I'm enjoying for the most part. More than I enjoyed the last season of In Plain Sight anyway. And I liked the subsequent episodes more than the pilot. Plus, the more USA shows I watch the better the chances that I'll spot Facing Kate commercials as soon as they start airing.
6. I never seem to like a single thing Angie Harmon is in. I don't know if she has really bad luck or really bad taste, but I can't stand any of her shows.

5. It was somewhat enjoyable, it just wasn't... Leverage-level of OMGMUSTWAaaaaaaaaaaaaatch. Which I sort of expected (er, that it wouldn't be, not that it would).
Facing Kate sort of terrifies me. I loathe lawyer dramas, and yet. :/ It will be hard to suffer for it. */histrionic*
6. The sad thing is that I really like Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander, I think their characters are great. I just want them in a show that isn't so... blah.

6. I'm so glad you said this. I was beginning to think I'd watched the pilot wrong, because by the time it was over I was all, wait, what? Rizzoli had some great lines, but there were a couple of points where she fell into the "Too Stupid To Live" category, and there were plot holes large enough to lose a semi in, but then everyone on my flist was raving about it the next morning. I figured I'd give it a chance (which I'm still doing), but the only thing that has impressed me so far is still Rizzoli and Harmon's portrayal of her. To the point that one of my mundane bingo prompts just screams out that it be a Rizzoli fic.

6. No. I wanted to like it so so much, and it... Well, I liked Rizzoli and Isles, but. Sigh. Also, it doesn't help that they were screwing around with police procedure, which does not go over well with me (I looove Olivia Dunham in Fringe for all of her procedure-following).
I'm going to watch more, I expect, but there will be fast-forwarding.

6. Same as #5 but if this next episode is as bad as the first few, I may drop it completely. My love of femslash can only go so far and I don't like procedurals to begin with...

6. Aww. Maybe someone will edit it down to the femslashy bits ;)
