whoops - leftover porn ficlet, Aliens, Ripley/Hicks, R

I think I wrote it the same time someone else wrote some R/H, and I didn't want to steal their thunder, so I forgot to post it.

It is short. And not mine, etc.

if time were mutable, Alien (movie), Hicks/Ripley, if

These are the things she remembers in dreams.

Hicks, with the rifle, leaning into her, explaining how it worked. Treating her as competent and knowledgeable, his hands sliding against hers. When they're done, his hands settle on her waist, fingers splayed a little. Ellen thinks of his fingers against her skin, the calluses almost scraping, but his touch would be gentle. So gentle and insistent until she was lost to the world.

That moment, when they're in the elevator, before--she's panicking and he's shouting and his mouth goes for hers. It's a shock, and the world shifts. Time stops, so she can get her hands in his pants and pull him free. He cries out, too close to a scream when he climaxes, and time starts again--the alien rears its ugly head and Hicks is screaming as the acid scalds him.

After it's all gone quiet, and Newt is asleep, she takes him in one of the pods, bent over him and grinding until she's wet and he's gasping prayers against the skin of her throat.

The sky is blue, and the grass is green, and Hicks is so awkward on a picnic that she laughs at him, the sound carrying away from them as he goes down on her, pressing her legs to the grass when she writhes and twitches. It's good, here, the sun beating on her skin and Ripley thinks of iced lemonade and sack races, of chasing her daughter (both of them) as they splash through the nearby creek.

Other times, other places, play through her mind as she sleeps. As though she could shape the world for herself.

Awake, she grasps at the remnants and tries not to feel lost.

Oh, man, this one is so sad, with the glimpses of what-might-have-beens.

Thank you.

No, she didn't, and it made me sad, generally.
