sff: Haven, pilot episode

*prods piratebay*

I really enjoyed that. It's a bit Twin Peaks meets Fringe meets In Plain Sight, and I'm sort of already shipping the two leads. they held each other at gunpoint, you KNOW that's a kink of mine

Also, I'm sorry to Eric Balfour fans, but his character is annoying and should go away soon, please.

Good to have an opinion on it, I've been meaning to check it out when it came on, but er, apparently not enough to actually remember what time. Heh.

I didn't actually manage to watch it last night, but it was being repeated this morning, so I watched it. And perhaps I was too sleepy or whatever, but I really did enjoy it.

I really enjoyed it too. I love love LOVE the female lead. She's tough and has a deadpan delivery in a way that on TV usually only men get.

I actually like Eric Balfour's character, but then again, I have a fondness for assholes (in real life, even).

He might grow on me! I don't know yet. Mostly, I'm happily enjoying having enjoyed the show.

Yeah, this was pretty light fun, and a decent pilot. No major complaints, really.

And I think Balfour is supposed to be annoying. I hope we only get him in small doses. ;)

I really liked the slight sense of humour about it, especially from the female lead. It's just funny enough to not be serious, which I think would be bad for the show to be TOO serious, but it's also not so silly we start getting goofy, which is already covered well with Eureka.

And!

I can't believe I forgot this...

The main guy, the police chief's son, the detective, Nathan! that's his name... I was getting a huge Trucco vibe off him, and kinda wish he was playing the part instead...

Yay! Someone else watched and liked it. I did enjoy that a lot and am rather interested to see where they go.
