I get the most fun dreams...

The dream started with women being recruited for radar/signals duty on the front lines during WWII. There was a whole camp of them, and then they were shipped by boat to an even more remote camp. It was at the second one that they began to suspect something was up.

For the camps were really run by the Germans, who were using the women to locate the Allied planes for destruction and what-not. As the facade began to fall apart, the officer in charge was given the order to close up shop and destroy all the evidence--which meant killing all of the witnesses. However, he'd rather become attached to his little troop of radar operators, and couldn't do it.

So his commander arrived to assess the situation, and then reassured the officer and the girls that all was well, and they would be released in groups.

The first couple of groups left through the main gates, and then one of the younger women came running into the main area, shouting that as soon as they were across the street, they were being gunned down.

It took but a few minutes for the women to organize a revolt, taking out the guards on their side and then rushing the troops in the street. Now that they had weapons, they began to make plans. They were stuck behind enemy lines, with no means of transport or escape, but they could certainly do a lot of damage/sabotage. They had uniforms and some of them could speak German, plus they had all of the equipment in the camp, though they knew they couldn't stay there long.

So they did.

I woke up around then. There were also a few sub-plots about a few of the women becoming friends and lovers, and one of them worrying about her husband who was a fighter pilot, but I don't remember how that fit in.

That sounds like a badass dream that you should totally write a novel about.

I would pay folding money for that book/movie.

That would make an excellent alternative history novel. It would be awesome. Seriously.
