Was listening to the Parker Pyne Investigates book by Christie, and OMG some of the sexism in it made me want to punch her for it. (marriages only last if women are lied to, and women LOVE being lied to, as the truth would make them intolerable, OMG WTF)

Also, Tommy Beresford is just not very bright.

Maybe that's why I usually avoid the Parker Pyne books. I'm a Poirot girl myself.

His are... sort of sweet and not very substantive. Poirot is next on my list to pull cds from (ALSO, David Suchet's version of Orient Express will be on Masterpiece/Mystery sometime in July. Eeeeeeeeeeee.)
