And I picked up this Regency romance, because nothing can rope me in better like an entirely nonsensical summary:

Seriously, you guys. A priest and a prince.

It's by April Kihlstrom, who isn't as good at nonsensical hilarity as, say, Metzger or Jensen. But she's generally amusing, if a touch melodramatic.

I am so looking forward to this.

I feel like it would be slightly better were it an actual priest and not a pretend-priest, but then again I have issues (and usually use "priest" as an AU stand-in for "jedi" so there's that.) That sounds adorably hilarious though.

It probably is not. Regencies tend to be pretty tame. I'm leaning towards "silly" and "over-melodramatic", which I seem to recall Kihlstrom being good at.

You should. It is very good. Young adult trilogy. Book 3 comes out in August.
