Unfortunately it already managed to get out into the wider internet waters as other authors picked it up. George R.R. Martin on Not A Blog (http://grrm.livejournal.com/) wrote about why he is against it and discussion there got pretty steamy too. I don't think any side will change their mind. And the wank will continue until everyone gets tired and goes back to their trenches.
