I have made a new desktop

In other news, my thoughts on the episode.

RIVERRIVERRIVER. AMYAMYAMY. RIVERAMYAMYRVIER.

That sort of covers the bits of glee, but. Y'know.

WEEPING ANGELS AND AMY AND RIVER. THREE OF MY FAVORITEST THINGS EVER. (ok, Benny, Ace, Seven and some wacky hijinx, too)

I love that Amy and River weren't jealous of each other and that Amy was all "wtf" and then mocking Eleven, AND THEN THERE WAS THE BIT WHERE RIVER HUGGED HER. *ships it, for the fuck of it*

And River was mostly in charge and the airlock and I LOVE THAT SHE IS THE SOPHIE DEVERAUX OF WHONIVERSE. Plus the archeology bit and the risking her life and stuff. AND OMG. <3

AMY WAS SO AWESOME. She was all smart and brave and kept the angel from getting her, and then the DOCTOR BIT HER. But Amy was still awesome.

And the statues. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. OMG.

ok.

The "now our only black guys will die" bit was fail.

But, Amy was trumps and River told her so and and "thanks for sonicing me." hahahahahah

Mostly, they have words and weren't all "OMGJELUS" it wasmore "O.o." a lot. also, hugging, and River telling her she was awesome.

I do not know. Possibly, the writers do not love us enough. *SNIFFLES*

But I just... River does that thing, where she doesn't apologize for being confident and good at her job, and she just IS. It hits all of my glee buttons.

Donna and Martha were mostly mocking of the Doctor and friendly, yes. It was a nice change from Sarah Jane and Rose's little spats of jealousy and Rose's jealous reaction to any female EVER giving the Doctor more than a passing glance.

Yes, some Parker, too. OMG. Parker would throw herself out the airlock and then Eliot would be all, "How did you know I was there?" after he scooped her up into his little fighter plane/spaceship and she'd say "I didn't" and there would be Eliot grumbling and Nate sternly telling her not to do that again. Well. If he found out, anyway.

I really hope they go Sophie with River. (Because holy shit did I see some reviews that just trashed River & then whined that if she is the Doctor's wife -- based on show spec, no spoilers -- why can't the Doctor have a husband. I really wanted to reply by asking if they'd missed the Master episodes.)
