SIGH

The worst thing about having a massive craving for Terror of the Vervoids is knowing that the only copy I have is on 20-year-old taped-off-PBS VHS. Complete with tracking issues and lossy sound.

SIGH.

MY LIFE IS SO HARD.

Luckily, Netflix has it. *moves to top of queue*

*laughs* I was reading the wikipedia entries on ToaTL yesterday, and it whetted the appetite, sadly.

Tell me how we survived pre-DVD and pre-Netflix again? Now, though, I find myself complaining if it isn't available to stream. "What do you mean, wait two days for it? I want it now!"

I don't know! Sometimes, I think we must have led harder lives. Otoh, who knows. Perhaps not having it at our fingertips was a good thing?

In my day we watched Star Trek on a fuzzy UHF channel from fifty miles away, and we were grateful for it. And that's literally true.
