Saturday, oh lovely Saturday
1. Advice to everyone who gets in an accident: lie like a dog and claim it's not your fault. (that's what the guy who hit me did, and if he had collision coverage, I'd be liable for his repairs/etc. As it is, he'd be an idiot to sue me for money I don't have). Why do I think he lied? Because there is no way the light was green when he was approaching the intersection, and no way that he slowed at all before going through. The north-bound traffic hadn't moved.
2. I should eat breakfast soon.
3. I woke up from a confusing dream that was Death & Diplomacy mixed with Sherlock Holmes. I think there was a bit where Holmes was explaining the Summit to Watson, but that could just be my waking thoughts.
4. We watched the '09 Sherlock Holmes movie last night, and I was pleased to see how very much my Irene and Mary fic fits into the story-line.
5. I got a Christmas present from my roommates: the entire Granada Holmes set. \o/ We watched the episode with Irene Adler in it, and I was intrigued by the fact that the long-ago Irene has some of the same facial structure as the new Irene. Also, Irene is sort of awesome and Holmes is entirely over-confident in his own abilities.
6. I really don't get the complaints about RDJ's Holmes when he's really just a younger version of Brett's.
