1. Spent the last two nights coding femslash_today updates (it wouldn't have gone so badly if the browser didn't freeze every single tab at least twice. This didn't happen before I updated firefox).

2. Still haven't heard from guy who hit me. Left him a message yesterday, but it's costing me money to store my car.

LJ's been awful for me lately too. I don't know what's up with that.

Can't YOUR insurance company chase him? Or do you not have insurance? (In my state everyone is required by law to have it, which is a pain but undeniably helpful in these situations.)

Sadly, no. Insurance was a luxury. (I have found out we're going to mandatory car insurance in June, though)

The amusing thing is that I don't actually want money from this guy! I just want to make sure his company doesn't need to look at my car.

Huh, I didn't realise WI didn't have mandatory insurance requirements.

May need to contact them directly at this rate.

Yeah. It not being a requirement has saved my ass for a while (there was no way to afford it in the early days, and even within the last year, it would have been a "I guess I don't pay the electric bill for three months" option)

Sigh. I'll give the company a call tomorrow. Even if THEY can't tell me anything, I'll know they can't.

*snugs*

Having our car insurance through GE has been awesome - they let us pay monthly, it's pretty damned cheap (I think maybe $400 or so a year?), and since we have our home insurance through them it lowers the rate to boot.

Did you get the newest fifefox update? There was one that came out yesterday (3.6.2) My loading issues from before seemed to go away after that update. But yeah, LJ has seemed a bit buggy lately as well, so that's probably not helping.

I have now, though I don't think mine is that version, hrm. We shall see if it helps. (It kept popping up and asking while I had 70+ tabs open for the update. I didn't want to risk crashing that)
