I cannot believe Parker is losing to that Chuck idiot
Seriously. This fandom steel cage match poll seems ridiculous, except for the part where Parker is losing. To some idiot dude.
In other news, I slept a ridiculous amount of time. But am awake now. There is laundry in the machine, hurrah.
Also, one of the books I picked up seems to spend an inordinate amount of time threatening the teenager with rape. The book is Gordath Wood and having skimmed bits and read the end, it's shit. (I think the icing on the cake was that the guy who had the teen girl strung up and whipped until she was bleeding did it because he is TOTES IN LOVE WITH HER and the book seems to think this is awesome to the point of him vowing he will find her again and then she will love him back)
So, having bowled a 0 on fantasy (Lambert bored me too much), I have retreated to Barbara Metzger, where at least the women aren't threatened with rape. Occasionally, they even punch people. Or at least use their riding crop on them. Or feed them saltpeter.
