Some days, I wonder why there needs to be a subject.
1. Someone who has read Caroline Stevermer's 'A Scholar of Magics' please reassure me that this Lambert fellow gets interesting, or at least stops hogging the narrative? I was really looking forward to seeing Jane Brailsford again, and so far, she's been in all of two seconds' worth. Also, I suspect that this book is really boring, as the thought of attempting chapter two (even knowing Jane appears in it!) has made me drop the book for a later time.
2. I have been listening to Who audios, and discovered a few things; I still enjoy Charley, I quite adore Evelyn (she is a wonderful foil for Six), Five and Nyssa are tops (even if the plots are ridiculous, Five has a way with dry sarcasm that stings two minutes later), Ace and Seven vs Daleks didn't annoy me, I still ship Benny/Eight like pie (srsly, OMG), Five and Turlough are (um) boring, Time Lord politics make me yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawn.
3. Also, recognizing Jackie Pearce from voice alone made me smug.
