1. I've seen a good variety, but that's the main pairing, yes.

5. She is hot, she punches people, she's human and vulnerable. She flies like it's the only thing she ever needs to do, and she lets her temper get the better of her sometimes when it shouldn't. Also, she is usually right.

1. Well, I'm going off gleeslash which seems to be about 60/40 in favor of the boyslash. Which is pretty damned impressive.

5. She doesn't let people push her, and she feels things deeply, and she can't help being what she is, but she makes the best with what she can. It's horrendous how everyone forgets about her after the Vorlons/earth gov crap is done, so she can slide down into Byron's clutches. Plus, she tries so hard.

1. I've managed about five minutes. *shudder* i suspect the entire concept bores me. Also, Kids, Incorporated was way better.

5. She is so intrigued by the world around her--I love her best when she autopsying, which is possibly sick. But she's not just a scientist, she's human (though she forgets that, sometimes) and she's a class act, complicated and distrustful of everything while at the same time wanting to know everything.

glee discovery

have in the past 6 wks discovered GLEE!
Have fallen in love with all of these characters big and especially the small. Gleeslash fan here and I find the femslashers are (imho) beating the knickers of the boys(they are good too!).

I'm in love with the whole unpleasantness of the awkward teenage thing that is GLEE!

I love her dedication to her job, and her willingness to disagree when she knows she's right and Hammond or O'Neill (or whomever) are wrong. I love that she doesn't think about herself when she's in the field, that she's more worried about those she cares about.

She took in a little orphan and gave her a home, and she doesn't always get her daughter, but she tries. And she is so fierce about protecting her.

She's snarky and amusing and has pretty much even gigantic marines cowed, if only because she has Big Needles.

I'm still not sure. I guess I sort of hate the fact that she has to be bad at relationships? Most of what I dislike is stuff that isn't Sam's fault at all--ie, it's not her fault the writers didn't make her leader of SG-1 for the last two seasons, and it's not her fault that she and Vala didn't run and be space pirates.

Most of what I can think of that I dislike are things like: no follow-up or emotional fall-out from being tortured by Fifth; the whole Jack thing, but not because she's pining, because the writers would never come down solidly on either side of the issue (either resolve it or drop it, don't keep teasing it!); the lack of interaction between her and other women on the show--which, again, isn't her fault as the Token Female who has to Know Everything.

I quite love Sam, though, so it's hard to think up things I don't like. Sigh.
