1. Being Human. I need to watch the show before I do any fic-reading (I'm weird like that), BUT. wiliqueen has been posting Video Goodies AND sabaceanbabe has been writing FIC. Her fic is always AWESOME. (also, I <3 Annie in the 1.5 seconds I've managed to see of the show).

2. FANDOM SECRETS ANON MEME. It was oddly quiet and non-hatey. Highlights of amusement:

Hee! I'm pacing myself on Foyle's War because it is too, too awesome to watch all at once and then not have anything left. (If I taught history, I would make my students watch this show and read The Wood Beyond for WWI and...okay, I should probably teach a history-and-media class instead or something.) :)

I have more than a few warped opinions that would be at home there...they're not really MEAN though, just *quite* different from acceptable/normal fandom...and what people might expect my opinion to be about certain things...;)

1. YES, you really do:) Annie is awesome but there were/are other awesome female characters in the show, as well (Nina is one; Lauren and Daisy are others)

2a. Oh, fandom...never change:)
2b. For anyone looking for Tosh femmeslash fic, there is gwentoshiko. Yes, it's only Gwen/Tosh but I'm sure some of those authors have written Tosh/Mary at some point:)

I liked the pilot and the cast in it, but then the actual series started and... and... and... OMG! NEW TV BOYFRIEND! AND NEW TV GIRLFRIEND (AND I DON'T USUALLY DO TV GIRLFRIENDS)! *ahem*
