No snow

...and it's now -15 windchill. Good job, Wisconsin.

I think I'm going to go start my car. If she will.

(also, this apartment is freezing. No lie, I'm sitting here bundled up and STILL COLD)

I'm not actually certain where our stuff is. It's an apartment building.

Well, if you don't have gas heat there won't be a pilot light. But when we're cold at home that's almost always what it is.

It's steam/radiators. And the heating is ON, it's just not set very high.

I think we're about the same. I plan on going outside during my lunch break and starting my car, just to let it run for a few minutes. It's always bitchier to me when it's cold out.

*nods* Yeah. And you guys actually got snow, you're worse off. :/

I went out at lunch and she started again, so, yay.

Huzzah! Midwest winters are fun!

(If I keep telling myself this maybe I'll eventually believe it.)

HAHAHAH. Yes.

I asked for a heated mattress pad for my bed for Christmas. I have, at last count, 4 space heaters for a house with 3 rooms (plus the bathroom, but that's the only room in the house that's usually warm).

Ugh. I am tempted to ask for something like an electric blanket, m'self.
