so I ran faster...

I'm still incredibly amused at the uproar over Fanwanking.net's war against bad smut.

Partly, because that message with the petition was so overly over-the-top and geared towards inflaming the heart of every liberal out there... *snicker*

But, mainly, because it's amusing. People are getting upset because they can't post/read NC-17 stories on a server anymore.

Boo. Fucking. Hoo.

*waves hand airily*

I think I've been reading too many silly books. I don't get it. Why should it matter?

I'm more irritated at the chat-fic ban, personally. But that's because I've been toying with one. And several of the unfinished pieces have bits of chat in them. Hrm. So does one of the finisheds...

In the end, though. It doesn't really DO anything to me. It doesn't make it more difficult for people to read my work.

Hrm. Bored now. Still amused. But bored.

By 'chat fic' I do think they mean ones that were actually composed *in* chat, by several persons, and not just in the format. At least the impression I got was of a bunch of bored morons throwing bad dialog back and forth without any real plot to it.

*nod* That's actually what they basically said. That most of the ones they saw were pretty much... uh.. bad.. *g*

Hmph.

Kore and I wrote the entirety of Big Brothers and Double Helix in chat. And most of the extended Peggyverse as well. Just because it's written in chat doesn't make it bad. ;)

Yes, but you don't leave that in 'chat' format. You fill it in with narration and stuff.

And *I* don't think it's all bad. Heck, I still want to do one with different people doing different characters. ...yeah, I'm a geek. ;)

No, I think that would be fun.
