This is actually something that's been bothering me for a while
(ever since I finished watching two seasons of Burn Notice)
It's just managed to crop up in BSG fandom, though.
And it's sort of very simple:
Telling a skinny girl to eat a sandwich is just as demeaning, destructive and derogatory as telling a fat girl to stop eating.
Point blank.
You. Do. Not. Have. The. Right. to dictate what other people should look like.
Unless you, personally, know that this person is puking and eating nothing and starving themselves? You don't have the right. And even if you do know it? YOU STILL DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT.
