And...
I made it to the library today. Yay. Now have Tori's Choirgirl, the Gravity Kills remix album... And several others. Distubed's whole CD sounds exactly the same. Every song the same melody, with different lyrics. Sad.
Disturbed did do a fairly nice cover of Tears for Fears' "Shout", though. Might mp3 it...
Listening to the Bjork remix album, Telegram... My god, it's just a bunch of badly edited sound... Who let these people out of the studio? If I wanted sound, I'd pop in Suicidal Tendencies. At least I'd get sarcastically freaky lyrics along with the homogenized sound.... (C'mon, I have to headbang to the line, "I want to be a Fascist pig!")
The Gravity Kills remixes sounded fairly decent, though. I listened to about half, then got bored.
I also got Jerry Cantrell. Odd little album stuff. Like "Anger Rising" might like others...
Now, I must find blank cassettes....
