Oh, internets...

Apparently, there's some wacko (my words, not the more reasonable people posting) contacting women and trying to... well, god knows what he's trying to do. Possibly trying to pick up chicks on the internets.

...I totally had, like, some thoughts on what I was going to type here, and they all ran away like kittens when I vaccuum. o.O

Mostly, this sounds bad, and people should maybe beware that if some dude named L. Prakash (calling himself a doctor?) sends you lavish feedback, it's probably best to ignore him?

(text stolen from her, too):
Apparently a guy going by the name Dr. L. Prakash is trolling sf/f writing haunts like Strange Horizons, seeking out female writers and then taking initiating steps in stalking (asking for mailing addresses). The initial contact seems to appear innocuous but Googling that name (which I don't recommend; major trigger warnings) yields information about a series of sex crimes.

7 women so far from the Strange Horizons site have said they've been contacted by this guy. Which puts this squarely in the "creepy ass trolling" category, no matter what else may be true.
