1. ladielazarus is hosting a ficlet pornishy battle for her birthday. X-Men, BSG, etc., etc. (her setup is slightly different from most ficlet battles, but still acceptably awesome. also, if I can write Kara/Sam and Kitty/Pete for it...)

2. Warehouse 13 last night was fairly excellent and entertaining. Also. Jo and Zane were con artists who knocked over Vegas while bored one weekend. =D

3. LEVERAGE. Also <3 (although I kept being distracted by Griffin Dunne, since I remember him in Criminal Intent as an asshole lawyer guy)

4. Managed to marathon Meat-Exit Wounds yesterday. OH DEAR GOD. Sigh. Torchwood, you horrible, awful, wonderful thing. I do think I'm revising my opinion of COE slowly but surely.

5. #151 in today's FS post is making me LOL like a LOLing thing. Oh, NCIS fandom.

5 just makes me happy. I don't hate him as much as I used to, sometimes I don't hate him at all, but fandom's obsession with him and with making him out to be the best thing over really gets up my nose.

The fic finder requests are what really boggle my mind. The 'I want one where Tony is younger than McGee, has been a cop longer than Gibbs, knows more forensics than Abby,' ones. It's so bizarre that these are his dedicated fans but they're so insecure about his merits as a character that they feel like they need to go to such great lengths to bloster him. Sometimes I want to start making a totally over-the-top request every week . . . like Tony is the real founder of Google, Tony is one of the Chief Rabbis of Israel, Tony is Barack Obama's half-brother, etc, etc.

But that would be wrong.
