King solomon's mines.....

Thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday. :)

Personally, it didn't feel like a birthday. I think I want to go back to being 5, so every birthday I can do absolutely nothing and invite all my friends over for a wild party. Sigh.

This was not helped by seeing not a single member of my family. The message on the greaseboard was sort of nice, though.

I am now, btw, the proud owner of two crate sections. Evidently they came from a new countertop (since the old one was next to the dumpster, too). The policemen were nice and didn't pull me over, even though I had to drive with one on the top of the car while I held it.... I now ponder investing in some rope.

Bookshelves. There are bookshelves in my future. I need some wood glue, and maybe even a few screws.... But they'll be useful.

Hey. I turned an empty boxspring into a bookshelf.

And I have M&Ms. Still. Hrm.

Um... I didn't realize it was your birthday... shows how out of it I am.

*BIG BIRTHDAY SMOOCHIES*

And, about the 5 years old thing - you have to do other things than the party at this age, but the parties can be wilder. :-)
