oh, god. the stupid burns.

Dear NCIS fandom,

please stop being obsessed with Tony DiNozzo's penis. You don't know where that thing has been, and unlike Owen Harper, Tony isn't a medical doctor. STDs are a fact of life, not some myth cooked up by the Christian Right so you don't have sex.

Tony isn't going to come bone you if you defend his manly honor.

(on a slightly related note, Gibbs had more slashy chemistry with Agent Callen in their one minute scene than he's had the ENTIRE SERIES with Tony. Apparently, Chris O'Donnell brings the gay.)

no love, me

I just can't see the Tony/Gibbs pairing.

Now I need to watch the last two eps of NCIS that I Tivoed while I was gone.

Two or three? We watched three, and they weren't half-bad. I think I might actually like the NCIS spinoff that's in the works, as long as they get rid of some of their glitzy OMG LOOK AT US technology.

I caught Legend (or the first part of it) and I agree. I was very wary about it at first, based on some descriptions, but the characters seemed very interesting. The technology was definitely an overkill, though... It also didn't make sense to me why McGee would be so impressed and envious of it. They made it seem as though they had nothing in their office at all.

Tony is MORE than obsessed enough with his penis for everyone. He's got it covered, folks. Literally, one hopes.

Is his penis more magical than Lee Adama's?

[identity profile] lyssie.livejournal.com 2009-05-16 04:20 pm (UTC)(link)
I... possibly. Lee actually has detractors, almost everyone seems to think Tony Is Awesome. Or something like that.

Shockingly, GC, any woman that comes in contact with it is automatically in the wrong if she doesn't immediately understand how important and incredible it is.

So maybe Lee is, like, right behind Tony?

No one can ever outdo Gibbs/Fornell for me. ;)

[identity profile] lyssie.livejournal.com 2009-05-16 04:19 pm (UTC)(link)
This is true. And I had no idea HOW MUCH I missed Fornell until he was in Semper Fidelis, and I was all, "Yay!" (and I might have said something about old men being adorable when Ducky was choking him out...)

They are such BFFs. *loves on them completely*

Ahahaha I love you. (I don't really mind the slash, I'll read almost anything if it's well-written enough, but yes to EVERYTHING here.)

[identity profile] lyssie.livejournal.com 2009-05-16 04:21 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't mind the slash. I don't read it, but in general, I don't mind it... But, for serious. Callen/Gibbs.

(on a slightly related note, Gibbs had more slashy chemistry with Agent Callen in their one minute scene than he's had the ENTIRE SERIES with Tony. Apparently, Chris O'Donnell brings the gay.)

YES.

(Also, I tried to explain the truth of this to [livejournal.com profile] kitchendinah, and she just kinda looked at me. But it's still true. :)

BWAHAHAHAH.

[identity profile] qwirky.livejournal.com 2009-05-16 07:23 pm (UTC)(link)
You don't know where that thing has been
*dead from laugh* And it's true.

NCIS fandom is really that bad, though? Meh.

Gibbs had more slashy chemistry with Agent Callen in their one minute scene than he's had the ENTIRE SERIES with Tony. Apparently, Chris O'Donnell brings the gay.
Ahahaha. Truth. *pats O'Donnell, who may or may not be dead for a spin-off series that may or may not be picked up?*

It IS possible that [livejournal.com profile] waterdaughter has just been finding the bad sections. But my faith in humanity wanes every day, so I have the suspicion a large portion of them are... Not bright.

Spin-off! *crosses fingers* I really liked the other team, I think they gelled pretty well (though Nate is going to be a special sparkly princess, I can tell), and Macy has good instincts (as do Callen and Hanna).

[identity profile] qwirky.livejournal.com 2009-05-16 08:45 pm (UTC)(link)
I guess I'll skip the Tony-penis-worship areas. If they can be skipped, that is. Or maybe just NCIS fandom generally, sans the few good fics out there + icons.

I liked Macy a lot. ♥ And yeah, Nate's gonna be one of those characters, but I liked him anyway. Callen's gonna be super emo, but I can deal since he is quite awesome at his job.
