ficlet: BSG, no title, Sue-Shaun
I did not manage any icons for the previously mentioned ladies. But Sue-Shaun is highly expressive.
And watching the opening of The Farm (I had a legitimate reason to be watching Sam and Kara flirting, shut up) also meant actually noticing who was standing around, and, well, Sue-Shaun is right there when they're all making plans on Kara's truckshut up, brain, we need to sleep.
Which is why I now have this.

Anders is shouting for a retreat and Sue-Shaun is more than willing. It's insane, people running, bullets flying. But she glances back, anyway, just in time to see Starbuck fall.
Shit. "Anders--" her voice gets drowned in a hail of bullets and artillery (frakkin' Cylons must have a launcher nearby), and she gives up trying to get his attention. He can't hear, none of them can.
It takes a second to make the decision, and she's cursing at herself, calling every name in the frakkin' book down on her head. Starbuck is frakking insane, and she might be right, and there is no way Sue-Shaun should be risking her ass for the colonial officer. But there's something about her, and Sue-Shaun can see the way Anders looks at her.
She isn't stupid. Starbuck sometimes gives him the same sort of look. Half-lust, half-something she doesn't want to know.
Ducking and rolling, she comes back up on her knees about ten feet from Starbuck. Too far away, and too close to run when the chrome toasters burst into the clearing.
She manages barely half a clip before a footstep behind her comes too late.
Going down cursing, she wonders if she'll wake up again.
