Things that I have been doing, with lj down from my end

1. Watched the Mrs. Bradley mysteries, Tommy and Tuppence, Midsomer Murders and Covert Affairs. For some reason, I'm not really in the mood for Nine Lives of Chloe King. Re-watched CA for capping purposes, and am considering the same for Tommy and Tuppence (OMG TUPPENCE. I should make icons)

2. Finished reading The Secret History of Moscow. It was lovely.

3. Contemplated the lack of Kara/Sam communities on dw. (v. important poll time: If I were to create a Kara/Sam community on the Dreamwidth, what should it be called? ")

4. Gone through the porn battle prompts, after realizing it was too late to actually add more than the, like, five I did. Oh well. There's a lack of Sheppard/Weir, sadly. (no Joan/Megan, alas. Or the cracky crossovers I was considering. Oh well, those never get any play anyway)

5. Started writing snippets for the porn battle (if I don't write them when they arrive, I usually don't manage to post them--I still have half-finished stuff from the last two)

And I like how you're actually contemplated it. I contemplated the lack of Elena/Stefan about 3.2 seconds... (this is how I get in trouble - so thoughtful, except every once in a while...)

4. I didn't do many cracky prompts either. I noticed there's quite a few 'main' ships, esp het ships, that aren't represented much at all - like not much A/R or K/L, for ex. Though I suppose there's plenty of play for them on bsg_kink and the like, so no need.

kara_sam seems the obvious one. I cconsidered buck_shot, too. =D

Part of not doing it immediately is that,well, it's not like we're busy on the lj side or anything.

I am extremely confused by the lack of Kara/Lee (seriously, Kara/Sam have the most BSG prompts. O.o)

There's a sad lack of comms on DW, period.

As far a comm name, perhaps something with the word 'snark' in it? 'Tis a good word and very apt for our ship. 'snark_and_sex' would be my suggestion but I'm not sure it's very distinguishing from all the other snarky/sexy ships out there :) Could easily apply to Sheppard/Weir, as well.
