It totally transcends individual fandoms - it's across the board. Like the identity of a character changes depending on who s/he is sleeping with. Craziness.

Yeah. I saw that a LOT in SG-1 fandom, and now I wonder if I just ignored it in BSG because, well, I don't play in some of the larger fanpools?
