coooold

150 stories, 54 fandoms. Damn. Purimgifts did well, this year. And I had a blast doing them, too. Masterlist with all of the fics and fandoms (they are also accepting more, in the event of pinch-hitters who weren't originally involved and people finding interest in prompts from the original prompting and such). I will say this now that it's been revealed. Well, two things:

1. Trying to find non-porno images of Black Canary? REALLY REALLY HARD.
2. Trying to decide what to write for people I don't know? REALLY REALLY HARD. [livejournal.com profile] ijemanja was a snap, though.

I have scraps from three (I think) pieces that I chucked because they weren't what I wanted. I may finish them and post them as ficlets later. I also need to write some fluffy Kara/Sam. Sigh.

And do some more edits to near-finished fic. And also find Open Office because the newest version of Word is the ugliest piece of dren I've seen in a long time.

We're talking uglier than the jailor in Disney's Three Musketeers, people.

ETA: Also, I have mini-mates of bad-ass-itude sitting next to my mouse. Kitty Pryde, Natasha, and Mystique. And they will frell your dren up but good, baby.

oh, man. We've got the whole run of Birds of Prey when she was in the teal bodysuit. I'm sure I could've found a decent cover to scan for you. :( But you found something, y/n?

I finally got my Dee and Ronon! And the most adorable wee ballots and ballot box for electoral fraud EVER. hee

The sad thing? My roommate has large portions of the run, and could have scanned stuff for me. I was just... ornery about not doing that. And I did find something which worked pretty good. *g*

The ballot box almost made me fall out of my chair I was laughing so hard! YAY!

I've been using AbiWord (http://www.abisource.com/) for .doc files, since my laptop didn't come with Word. (Or even Wordpad, WTF?) It's not fancy, but it's free. And small. Only thing, I wish it did tabs for multiple documents instead of opening a new instance.

thanks for the heads-up about the Purimgifts. Weirdest thing...I've been studying the book of Esther. So not sharing this link with the gals in Bible study.

Y're welcome. Erm. There is some bible fic on there, but I don't know what it's like.

wow....I gave you the wrong impression.

there was sg-1 and firefly fic on that list, so yay for that.

(what bible fic may or may not look like, I hope to never find out!)

Actually, it was sort of a warning. *g*

See I knew (or strongly suspected, anyway) it had to be someone I knew, because my gifts were basically all the things I love best in the world. *is the luckiest*
