I dreamt that I wrote a ton of meta about Leoben and why fandom hates him and shouldn't. Or something to that effect. I seem to recall talking about how he gets various peoples' panties in a twist.

Last night, talking to

redstarrobot, it occurred to me that I like Kara/Leoben in the same way I like Cally/Travis. Which just leads me to think I should write fic where Cally gets to torture him. ~~or crossover fic where Leoben explains that Cally has a Destiny~~

Cally doesn't need to lead her people to Earth, though! And she ain't sticking around to help the Auron nursery. There are more important things to do, like blow shit up.

However, she could be the downfall of the Federation. That would please me.

You would, quite possibly, like the other Cally, though.

I enjoy Leoben and like Kara/Leoben on a platonic level, but I'm reluctant to ship them because it does push my buttons. It, um, probably doesn't help that it reminds me of Buffy/Spike on some level.

But! Leoben shipping Kara/Sam did redeem him for me in a major, major way, and I can see Leoben/Kara if Sam gets to join.

It's weird in that I sort of have to sideways ship them. Which makes no sense outside of my head. But! Cally and Travis go around blowing up the Federation, and rebellions make strange bedfellows.

I am fond of the OT3 at times, m'self.

I am genetically incapable of hating Leoben. But you already know why. <3

I have NO IDEA what Daybreakverse is, but it sounds interesting. :P

Daybreakverse is where Earth is habitable, but dead, and the Cylons and humans have a sort of truce and Kara runs the pilots (including cylon!pilots) with an iron fist and there is settlement and planning and--

It's way better canon than anything else we've been given the last two weeks.

I mean, seriously... is the planet still THAT irradiated that it can't be use at all? I mean, what about the fucking mountains? There has to be SOME spot on that planet that didn't get nuked, FFS.
