1. New Doctor has been cast for Doctor Who. he's... white and boring. Any interest I had in the new series has now waned even further. (Let's face it, I haven't really been interested in it since I watched Family of Suck, I was just sort of testing to see if I still liked it, after that)

2. Diamond Select is still full of fail. I WANT MY CYLONS AND DEE, YOU FUCKERS.

3. I've had Spaceman and Human going through my head all morning. Fail, brain.

4. The B-52's have a song called "Love in the Year 3000". It references Tentacle Porn.

The release date has moved slowly from, like, "March 2008" to "December 2008".

No. I mean, I'll admit a big reason for hating it was that insane, annoying bullshit about Martha only being trustworthy because she loves the Doctor but he doesn't love her, emonoes. :/

But I also found it really kind of dumb and a rehash of every "robot-boy wants to be a real human now!" type story.

Yeah. I'm actually kind of an asexualist about the Doctor. Or into orgies or whathaveyou. So him falling in love was annoying, but iwt was also trite and pointlessly predictable.

I prefer clockwork droids and explosions and journalists asking pointed questions, really.

I actually wasn't, I apologize if it came across that way. I truly do hate the shipping aspect of Who and wish it would GO AWAY. Yes, I am, however, aware that's sort of hypocritical, (especially given my default icon is Sam groping Kara, and I ship them like mad).

I was just wistfully wishing the show could actually be interesting to me again. :/

I was under the impression *wrong impression* that aunty Beeb was going to put herself out on a limb and choose an actor who had been on the show previously. Cough Patterson Joseph Cough he is a classically trained actor who does alot of shakespeare and new writers stuff. They and the press led people to believe that he was in with a good chance of having the job. Then yesterday it is announced some 26 yr old is going to start in 2010 being the new DR. So dissappointed. Guess The Dr will alway be middle class and white. I'm probably not going to watch after Tennants departure cos for some strange reason I really like the scottish man. If you see him in the Beeb version 3 parter of Casanova. Has a really filthy laugh.

Don't know who Diamon select are but I too am missing Cylons and Dee. I still think she is awesome. almost as awesome at the Pres. If I had to list all the awesome women on the show. Pres 1st Dee 2nd, Starbuck 8th and Kara no placing. (gone off her so much)> Good luck with the grocey shopping!
