lyssie: (parker winning does not equal whining)

One of these mornings....

Note to self: reading peoples' opinions of the women of NCIS always makes you cranky. It's best to remember that and avoid the motherfuckers.

That said. OMG NCIS. ABBY. So adorable. (and Vance with his family! Ee!)

New Leverage tonight! *gleeful*

Also, I should write a Leverage/Pretender/Bionic Woman/Knight Rider crossover. Sarah Corvus is Parker from Leverage's big sister and Jarod believes in uniting families! Meanwhile, Sarah steals Billy and Kitt (who gets a voice makeover).

The only question to the latter part I have is "what/who does Kitt sound like after the makeover?"

(I'm not sane right now. Really.)

Mark Craig from St. Elsewhere. (William Daniels)

I've never watched NCIS and I don't even know who Abby is/who plays her. But it intrigues me that Katee said before the show, she was deciding to take the role of either Abby or Starbuck. (She also said she think she definitely made the right choice.)

Holy crossover Batman. Sarah (kara!) and Billy?? hee.

It's decent for a procedural, with lots of snappy patter and female characters who aren't there just to smile and wear skimpy shit to attract males to the show. Plus, they get about the same amount of plot/arc type stuff as the males--all save Gibbs, who always gets the lion's share.

Yah! Not in a shippy way, but Billy from the new Knight Rider is Billy from BSG. Thus. Scary-ass crossover.

OMG ABBY WAS SO CUTE TONIGHT
The mistletoe was adorable and her big eyes while talking to McGee about the dude's daughter. ::wibble:: Why can't I have an Abby in my life?

For the same reason people still talk smack about female characters. ie, the world doesn't love us.

The look on Abby's face with the shrink-dressed-as-Santa OH HOLY GOD. :: loves her madly ::

I also randomly love her mentioning going to church before coming back to the office. Dunno why. I think it's just how rarely you get a casual mention like that on TV -- people are either completely secular or über-devout. [livejournal.com profile] amilyn asked the other day if she's Catholic (on account of the bowling-with-nuns, IIRC), and I said probably, since she's from NOLA. But I haven't seen the show at all systematically (just randomly mainlined it on USA lately, and seeing new ones when I remember), and don't think I've seen/heard anything definitive.

Kate Todd was definitely a Catholic. I'm not sure if Abby is or if she picked up the habit from Kate, though I seem to recall her mentioning church a few times before.

Aw. Sorry. One of my roommates loathes it, the other usually isn't around to watch it with me.
