I cannot feel my toes.
Or my ass, come to think of it.
It is barely 40 degrees F here in Milwaukee, and there's a massive, blustery wind making it feel far colder. But I did successfully go stand with people and hold signs.
After I found them, that is. You see, they were nowhere near the address listed on their little Milwaukee page at Join the Impact. And I would not have found them if I hadn't randomly driven down Kilbourn. Stupid idiots.
They were on Water, at the ice skating rink, which is NOT 200 E Wells st. Pfft.
Anyway. I got sign making materials and stood there for over an hour, before the few of us left packed it in. (it apparently had more people at 12:30, who then all left at, like, 1).
'H8 is not a family value' seemed appropriate. Though it wasn't exactly the Mona Lisa of signs.
