1. I want to resurrect Bob Dylan so I can have him fight John McCain. My money would be on Dylan. eta: wiki tells me Dylan is alive, and not paid attention to. Although apparently, he is still recording. This is disappointing. I was looking forward to voodoo zombies vs. capital hill.

2. Have watched season two of The Pretender up to 2.8. Am waiting for other people to catch up now.

3. have ficlets. must kill them with spoon.

4. The bank I use is hiring sales people. Guess they're trying to catch all the people fleeing the other banks.

5. Was going to do laundry today... and it is pouring. Do not want wet clothing.

6. You know, if I were a random audience member, given a microphone at a political debate, I would totally ask a very important question. "What are your thoughts on Yaoi?"

7. I sort of maybe want to write a Bionic Woman/Knight Rider crossover where Sarah Corvus steals Billy and Kitt (voiced by William Daniels, tyvm, bitches, and sounding very much like Mark Craig in my head, actually), because they are abused and underused. And then she kidnaps Jaime and there is a world-wide swathe of kicking ass and taking names. Possibly with Billy entirely bemused and sometimes telling Kitt he'd appreciate it if they'd close the door when they have sex they could stop for a movie once in a while. I sort of might have a page full of Sarah and Billy and Kitt already

8. Speaking of Daniels, he and his wife are STILL SO ADORABLE.

9. Animaniacs' wiki tells me they had an INTERNET FANDOM. Man. Some of them must be looking at fandom these days and going, "lol, no0bs."

10. I find it amusing that the only political commercials I noted during NCIS (OMG MY TEAM, EEEEEE--ALSO, IT IS NOW CANON THAT ABBY AND ZIVA HAVE SLEEPOVERS OMG) were from the Obama camp.

So, I ended up mainlining all five seasons of NCIS earlier this summer, and now am completely hooked. And trying to figure out WHY THE HELL I didn't get a clue from your ravings that this show is so f-ing good!! :)
