Spent, like, five hours blowing things up yesterday with the family. Survived ash in my eye. Took pretteh pictures.

There is a porn battle accepting prompts over here (and, hey, the Kara/Lee might for once knock the Kara/Sam off the charts */amused*)

I will never forget the 4th with my family when they were brilliantly throwing the spent fireworks into the campfire. I warned that that may not be a good idea. Of course, they ignored the ever cautious, risk averse me! Until one of the so-called "spent" fireworks still had a few of it's tricks left unexploded and they started popping out of the fire, with all the youngsters around.

That's the last time I was with the fam for a 4th of July when we did our own fireworks. More an issue of timing than desire, but still, I'm sorta happy about that :)
