Dear marriedonmars members. The point of not putting spoilery icons as your teasers is because, for whatever reason, some people don't get to watch the episode/don't care enough to download it.

I totally thought that was going to be a Sam/Annie, Life on Mars comm.

Totally playing devil's advocate here (or whatever the correct term is), but if people don't care enough to download the episode, would they care about being spoiled for it? Just wondering.

I'm not condoning spoilery icons in teasers because that's just plain mean/rude. Casting spoilers are still spoilers, ppl.

Given that every episode discussion post warns for spoilers, I'm assuming the same should hold true for icons.

As for downloading, not everyone has that sort of net access, hard drive space, or lack of morals.

Ah, that makes sense. I thought you meant didn't care enough to download like they didn't care enough to even want to watch the episode in the first place, hence my question. (But still, people who don't want to watch the episode shouldn't be spoiled for it, either)

I just looked and that comm has rules against spoilery images. The mods need to bring out the banhammer. Or warn the offending persons politely, but I like banhammer better :)

hah! Once upon a time, it might have been 'don't care enough to watch', but I like Donna and I'm trying to keep up (Skiffy's just a little behind).

I suppose the sad thing is, if I were really annoyed (and not just cranky for being awake this early), I'd email the mods.
