So, are you two up for something that could be considered an encounter with the outdoors? Namely, a cookout of some sort at Devil's Lake (that we would go to such a place is only fitting, after all).

And anyone else (antiwesley, f'r instance) in the area, for that matter. It's just that, y'know, my car only fits the four of us. However, if more people want to congregate with the crazy nice and sane people such as m'self and my roommate, letting me know in advance would be good, so I can have enough alcohol soda and food.

And also so, y'know, we can arrange a place to meet.

I promise to not be sick. Mostly.

All of this hinges on it not being TORNADO WEATHER on Sunday, of course.

We do have a tent, and outside of an appointment on Saturday morning, the time.
I can clean out the van, so we'd have more room as well in there. :)

Do we need to bring anything else, like a grill or such?

Whoot! Well, at the moment, the only plan is:

1. stop and get food.
2. drive there.

Indeed! Could not be an overnight, damn you, work! However, I look forward to an enjoyable time communing with nature. Perhaps I'll cut down a tree, make a book, and commune properly. :D

I can purchase some vittles as well, remember.

Actually, doesn't this also hinge on Devil's Lake being there? Wisconsin's been experiencing a rash of lakes running away lately...

Alas it shall not be this time. I was hoping the *wonderful* weather we've been having would stop the insanity. But yesterday she went out and bought more plants for me to deal with. o_O I don't think she realizes that we had 3-5 tornadoes come thru this area yesterday.
