cujoy and I were tossing ideas around in IM this afternoon... (vague spoilers for season four of BSG)

lyssie: yes. How about happier thoughts? The show ends with them discovering Earth and finding out they're all Cylons. Kara and Sam take up flying and teach the kids, too. Or maybe there's a Noir-ish feel, with lots of sex on desks.
cujoy: Ahhh, of course they're all Cylons.
cujoy: It's all happened before. ;)
cujoy: So humans have interbred with Cylons many, many times.
lyssie: Yes. I tell you, if there's time travel and reincarnation, I will throw things.
cujoy: Oh, there's reincarnation in spades, And Adama is Zeus!
lyssie: Thanks. Now Kara's making salacious comments about Sam's breeding abilities in my head.
lyssie: Sam is all *;stoic, long-suffering look:* at her.
cujoy: Maybe Kara was a Cylon last time, and Sam had a Special Destiny.
lyssie: Or Lee was, Kara was president, and Sam was Natalie.
cujoy: That's just not as fun.
lyssie: I don't know. Kara Thrace, President and Sam Anders, Admiral....
cujoy: That would work. Admiral Anders. President Thrace.
lyssie: I'm attempting to find something to indicate actions without losing pieces of my punctuation. I am, however, giggling madly inside, because it would so so so work. She would walk all over him and he'd chase after her, and, wham. Fight to the death, reading to each other at bedtime and being cranky and old...

lyssie: And there's Laura Roslin, viper jock, and Sam's son Leoben who has a crush on Roslin AND Kara. And....
cujoy: ::giggles:: And Cally is a total Cylon. So is Helo. Sharon is a deck hand.
lyssie: D'Anna is Chief of the deck. Caprica is XO. Baltar is Admiral Baltar of the Pegasus.
cujoy: Dee's a Cylon too. So is Gaeta.
lyssie: And then there's Dr. Edmunson, the pre-eminent authority on cybernetic brain implants... And the Cylon in her head, Lee Adama....
cujoy: Giggle. Tigh is the crusty doctor.
cujoy: Cottle is a total Cylon.
lyssie: Yes! And Simon is the third officer and LSO. Doral is the Chief's second in command. Or possibly the comms officer.
cujoy: Hot Dog is a deck hand. Jammer is a pilot.
lyssie: Bill Adama is a resistance fighter on Caprica.
cujoy: Yes!
lyssie: Man. Now I'm trying to picture it...
cujoy: Maybe he was Bill, but he looked just like Hot Dog.
lyssie: thought: Billy Keikeya s Leoben?
cujoy: Billy as Tory? Tory as Billy.
cujoy: OMG - Who is Tory in LOTR?
lyssie: I was tempted to make her a Cylon mostly. "you're special, Laura. Billy told us" makes me laugh.
cujoy: Tory can be Rosie Cotton.
cujoy: She's got the curly hair down.
cujoy: Treebeard - Romo Lampkin can be Treebeard.
lyssie: and thus cut completely out of my version. YAY
cujoy: him and his dead cat.
cujoy: Jake can be Shadowfax?
cujoy: Or maybe Bill the mule?
lyssie: Bill, I think.
cujoy: And I bet Romo's cat was a female.
cujoy: :whew: I think the official name of the cat is Lance. Making it the first male they've killed.
