Things.
1. Still sick.
2. Telepath storyline still the most obnoxious and boring thing EVER. I like how these refugees have clean hair, faces and clothes, despite living in an area that probably has little water for showering and soap and the kind of hair products they'd need to keep those locks lovely would be way more expensive than, say, food. I still love that I wanted Byron to die in a fire and... yes. Poor Lyta, used like a condom to make him more human or something.
3. Bester and Psi Corps have no sympathy from me. Dying in a fire would be nice. Bester, at least, I can tolerate.
4. G'Kar = still more awesome than anyone else. EVER.
5. I actually like Lochley, even though she's... abrasive.
6. Also. I just watched Delenn break a man's fingers. *happysigh*

But. Man. I miss Marcus and Ivanova. Siiigh.

BE STRONG. Er, even though that's how I ended up getting them (I do have a job, though).
Vir is lovely and wonderful and makes me gleeful.
Dee/Corwin. YES. Hrm. Especially since I get the impression Corwin totally runs the station, now (who else ran it while Ivanova was off messing about with that silly civil war nonsense?). Although Lochley occasionally helps.
The Tory=Lyta thing is scarily apparent, even when watching the Lyta and Byron scenes in fast-forward. True, Byron leads her way more than Baltar leads Tory. But. He shares way way less than she does.

I loves them both. *pleased*
And RAD sounds like an idiot. Which makes me laugh. I've seen Callis, and he's amusing, if nothing else. (also, when asked to spill secrets about Tricia, he totally wouldn't, 'cause he's scared of her).

The whole Psi Corps can get lost in hyperspace. Well, I realize many are young and naively buy the party line crap. But fascists like Bester and his Psi Cops deserve to go up against the wall.

I also liked Lochley quite a bit too.
Soon I go rewatch the Fall of Centauri Prime and get my walking in...

Sometimes I wish they had just stopped with Season 4 and left us all there. They had filmed Sleeping in Light, and I would have been okay with no fifth season.
Lyta... at least she doesn't end up as a brain in a jar, unlike some other telepaths. And she does get a second chance to go with G'Kar.
G'Kar and Londo... it's hard sometimes to watch the beginning episodes where they torment each other, and know where it's ending up.
I loved Delenn, and Ivanova, and Garibaldi, and to a slightly lesser extent, Steven Franklin.

Lyta and G'Kar striking a bargain is awesome.
And season five is STILL good television and glows BSG out of the water for actual plot and planning and cohesive canon across episodes. Not to mention, characters act and react according to already-established personalities, and not pasted-on things so they can get the emotional poignancy out of the audience.

OH YES! "I'd like to be there when they cut off your head and put it on a pike, as a reminder to the next 10 generations that some favors come with too high a price. I would raise my hand, and wave, just like this."

I'm amused at the concept or Roslin airlocking him, but only because he's Leoben and thus, he'd come back again.

Ultimately Babylon 5 is frakking fantastic.

And she was awesome, when they, y'know, gave her things to do that weren't "woe is me I'm an Abused Telepath".

G'kar! I'm not sure I've ever gone from hating to adoring a character quite that dramatically.

The funny thing is, yes. In the very beginning, I found Londo, G'Kar, Delenn, etc., rather boring and flat. But they developed, they changed, they're different people at the end of the series (in most ways, better. In some, worse. Sigh, Oh, Londo.). And, yeah, by mid-season two, I love G'Kar. By the end? Probably my favorite (not that I can ever write him worth a damn). And he has to share mental shelfspace with everyone else and sometimes, Susan shoves him off or Marcus does, or--
Sigh.

I wonder what B5 fandom was like. There must have been one, but ... there were no ships, besides Sheriden/Delenn.
And Londo/G'KarCan you have a fandom without ships? ;-)no subject
And. Susan/Talia, Talia/Garibaldi, Delenn/Sinclair, Lyta/Garibaldi, Lyta/Zack, Sheridan/Garibaldi, Sinclair/Garibadli, Franklin/Garibaldi, Lyta/Franklin, Susan/Frankling, Dr. Hobbs/Franklin....
I'd bet there were ship wars. ;]

Yeah, I'd forgotten about Susan/Talia. *sob*

Tragic. Sigh.
Now I want to write silly happy-ending fluffy bunny ficarh.no subject
Mmm, yeah. Poor Talia.
