Oh yeah! The guy from the original Star Trek. Chekov! Okay, now I remember and agree, Mom would airlock Bester. *hee* Now, you've made me want to do a rewatch of B5. Think I'll start tonight.
Hubby just handed me "In The Beginning" the movie and said "Let's start here." YAAAA! He's gonna watch it with me. See you got us both wanting to watch it. Someone needs to be paying you for advertising. And I'm out. *hee*
Roslin looked up from her notes, and slid her eyes towards Captain Sheridan. "Admiral. I believe that the Captain has already explained the efficacy of my actions."
"If he was useful," Sheridan said, "Bester would have used you right back, and gotten the better of the deal."
BWahahahahahahah. Nah, characterization seems good. (now I wanna know what Sam's doing, or are he and Michael off walking through the Zocolo or something?)
Baltar looked up from his notes, and eyed this new...person who had arrived aboard the Galactica with the first wave of interested persons from the space station. "I assume that's rather a normal thing," he mused.
The man smiled, his red eyes looking oddly amused. "Oh, yes, I have heard of you, Dr. Gaius Baltar." He moved closer and set a rather thick book down, bound in what looked like worn leather. "I am G'Kar of the Narn. And I believe we have much to talk about."
"Oh, I'm a very very busy--"
"He can help you to continue upon the path," Six said, sliding up behind G'Kar, her gaze upon him almost admiring. "Play nice with him, Gaius, and we will begin anew aboard this station."
"--busy," Gaius broke off, then ahemmed, "And yet, I find that, for spiritual matters, I can always make an exception."
Six smiled serenely at him, her mission accomplished.
Garibaldi bellied up to the bar, grabbing the shot the bartender already had ready for him. Of course, it was some non-alcoholic crap, but the effect of slamming it back still gave him the same sort of relief.
Next to him, some tall idiot waved for another beer, then slumped onto his stool.
"Women?" Michael guessed, figuring that was about the only thing that'd get a man that down.
The glass the man was drinking from rattled morosely, and Michael didn't think that was actually possible. "Women," Helo agreed.
"You're one of those Colonial guys, right?" Michael asked the taller man.
"Y'know," Helo said, not seeming to notice the question, "She said I was being an idiot?"
Michael sighed and waved at the bartender. It was gonna be a long night.
hahahahahah! Man. Adama wants to know how he got saddled with all the kids while Mom's off having tea with Delenn and beating the alliance into shape...
Also.
Susan glanced away from her workstation and spotted Lt. Agathon in the doorway, hovering and looking... not confused, but interested. She put on her best smile and moved towards her, "Lieutenant. Welcome to CnC."
"Thank you, Commander." Agathon smiled, eyes drawn past Susan to the window looking out onto space. "I've brought those navigational records you needed."
Accepting the data crystals, Susan considered, then took the Cylon's elbow, "C'mon and look at the view while I make sure our systems are compatible."
"Thank you." Athena was silent as she stared out the window, almost as though she were measuring what she was seeing, storing it up for a different time. "It's so different, seeing it this way."
"You get used to it."
She was silent a moment longer, then shrugged, "I don't think I ever would."

But I loved the rest along with my personal favorite Marcus. *sad face* He died for her. That's true love. *sniff*

Bester is the creepy telepath guy who's always being mindfrakky and twisted and getting them to do his dirty work.

Another great show with excellent characters.
We need to have TPTB in Hollywood watch these shows so that they know what excellent characters look like.

I just wish that Sherridan had been able to do that. Either him, Ivanova or Gariabaldi, because they would get such unholy pleasure from doing it.
Ivanova - for him being psycorps plain & simple. Garibaldi - for the mind fuck that Bester did to him.

Makes me want to rewatch B5 really badly! :-)
