I do not want to go to work today

sometimes, I really resent my parents training me to have a good work ethic when 99% of America doesn't.

Indeed and I'm sick of paying for those lazy bastards that could get out and work but don't when I barely scrape by myself most of the time.

yeah. I know what you mean. That Midwestern work ethic is just a rare beast.

Same here. Stupid damned work ethic... wow, my 5th anniversary is next week. I don't know if that should make happy or very sad.

I can't believe the shit people get away with where Tom works. It's CRAZY. I don't know if it's just the Midwest, or if it's more chronic than that, but man, if I slacked off a quarter as much back home at my job as people here do? I'd be so fired it wouldn't be funny.

Indeed. Blast it all. Worse when half your day is spent watching people do the things you WANT to be doing (like reading).
