oh, man--

I HAD TOTALLY FORGOT GAIUS BALTAR was in the first episode of "Heat of the Sun". OH JAMES. Dude, get a better haircut, although I suppose it was nicely period.

Also. Emma Fitzgerald = win.

(I had something else to say, but I've forgotten it totally)

I adored "Heat of the Sun" and Emma in particular. I was just thinking of it the other day and that I needed to watch it again. Seeing wee James Callis will be a total bonus. :)

I'm now bereft as I'm not sure where disc three has gotten to. sigh.

Emma, just. Dude, she shoots, she flies--and she's blonde. It's like they were all sneaky and went, "let's give Lyssie all her likes" or something.

Also. There were surprise lesbians in the second episode. Man. I must've been blind to not see it at the time.

I love that she flies and has her own plane. I loved Out of Africa because it's just a gorgeous book and movie and I loved the flying parts. But, Emma! it's so much better when the hot, awesome woman gets to be the pilot herself.

I'd totally forgotten about the surprise lesbians. Okay, I've got to watch the dvds I've got from Netflix this weekend so I can get these dvds for the coming week.

Diana Rigg mentions Out of Africa after one of the segments. It's obvious she's got a lot of respect for the writer of the book, and as always, it's a fascinating real life link.

I was kind of o.O at them already and then--they were very subtle about it. And it wasn't a reason for sensational gossip-mongering. Though it could have been, eventually.
