Most of it is gen. There's some that isn't, actually, or is shippy. I think I linked to mostly gen and non-shippy, though. And the Rose one isn't shippy, as far as I can tell (and I'm pretty hate-filled when it comes to Rose/Doc, so).

Heh. I... I don't remember when I started noticing that fandom tended not to write the female characters. Maybe after I hit SG-1, and the massive amount of badly-written Sam/Jack, where Sam was just a wimpy stand-in for their lust for Jack?

Eh. Who knows.

I LOVE the fact that BSG is so full of women (I'm really hoping this season balances out the craptitude of last), and people WRITING them.

I think, back in the day, when there was LESS romance/ship stuff, there were more fics about the women in any given fandom. I could be utterly wrong, though.
