welll...

Got almost my whole list of things to do done. Kelly is still alive.

Sigh.

Couldn't find Event Horizon. So, I asked the library lady, "If it says 'CheckdIn', is it on the shelf?"

"Yes, of course." She replied, as if I were stupid. "It's on the shelf."

"But it isn't."

"Well, if it says it is, then someone must have it."

Gee.

Personally, I think she just had it in with her massive stacks of unshelved books. Bitch.

So. I got the Depeche Mode biography instead. And Spindle's End by Robin McKinley, and The Queen's Necklace by Teresa Edgerton.

The biography took me my entire shift to read. But I was interrupted lots. And it was very dense. It's not a perfect book, in fact, I'd say the guy really shouldn't ever try to write a biography again. But, then, I doubt I could've done it.

It was an interesting read, though. Sadly, it ended at '98. So. No new bits about the new album. In fact, there was a sense that they thought the band was going to break up.

And I don't think I like Alan Wilder.

I do wanna listen to all my cds now, though. Hrm.

You know what's really cool? A new washing machine. It's like magic, baby.

Hrm... shall wander.
