*stares at Ohio, in specific, Hamilton*

Somehow, I know this is your fault.

Hee...

We're snowed in! And while it is very pretty, it's going to become tiresome very quickly.

My city doesn't do well at snow. We shut down at 3 inches. And now we have 8-12! And possibly more!!

Dude, if you're in Hamilton, I will giggle madly.

Our city doesn't shut down, even after 12 inches!

[identity profile] pataka02.livejournal.com 2008-03-08 03:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Not Hamilton, no... I'm in KY.

And there's so much snow! My dog loves it and my cat is pissed.

It's really funny. Also, it makes me revert to the girl in Elementary School who kept hoping school would be cancelled.

ahhh. Also, dude, now it's sunny. WTF, WEATHER, WTF.

It is Saturday! I can pretend there are no classes, anywhere, ever. *goes back to bed*

Made it snow! (I amused there are more people in Hamilton and its environs than I'd thought)

[livejournal.com profile] spubba is the one I know about. :)

Yeah. Alryssa is there. And so, I thought, was sisterpandora, although apparently not, if her comment is correct.

Small world. Oddly, it hasn't snowed much here today. Just some flurrying in the morning.

<.<

Yes. It's all my fault.

Not anymore. I grew up in Oxford, which isn't too far from Hamilton. (I live in the Chicago area now.)

That's why, in my sports related posts that no one reads, I often refer to the Reds and Bengals. I'd actually consider the Reds my first fandom. Right outta the cradle. ;) And Johnny Bench is still my hero.

It's snowing here.

In Atlanta.

In March.

I'm going back to bed.

Bed was a good place to be.

[identity profile] sisterpandora.livejournal.com 2008-03-08 05:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh good, you're just looking at Hamilton, that means I'm in the clear. ;)

[identity profile] lyssie.livejournal.com 2008-03-08 07:34 pm (UTC)(link)
When did you move out? Bah. I was still looking pointedly your way, darlin'.

[identity profile] sisterpandora.livejournal.com 2008-03-08 08:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Three and a half months ago.

Meep! How much powder did you get?

[identity profile] mamaboolj.livejournal.com 2008-03-08 05:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Just rain for us, no snow. But, it's supposed to be a lot of rain, and I'm scared about my basement flooding. I hate when that happens!

[identity profile] lyssie.livejournal.com 2008-03-08 07:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Ugh. Flooded basements are not fun! *keeps fingers crossed that it won't happen*

[identity profile] ellestra.livejournal.com 2008-03-08 06:46 pm (UTC)(link)
My goal – to make you feel more depressed.

We (in Poland) have full blown spring with young leaves spurting and birds singing and even butterflies. It was sunny today and +15OC (60 something in Fahrenheit I think). I went for a bike ride. Forsythias are about to bloom.

Are you sure you haven’t been moved to Siberia?

[identity profile] lyssie.livejournal.com 2008-03-08 07:36 pm (UTC)(link)
AHAHAH.

You might make the people in Atlanta depressed, too. They had SNOW this morning.

[identity profile] ellestra.livejournal.com 2008-03-09 07:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Congratulations!

Your snow made our news :P

Is it fall-out from the Fernald nuclear site?

[identity profile] alryssa.livejournal.com 2008-03-08 08:43 pm (UTC)(link)
omg please don't kill me

[identity profile] ladyniko.livejournal.com 2008-03-08 08:43 pm (UTC)(link)
bwahahahhahahaha!

Cold, but clear skies here. This storm completely missed us.

Tuesday - we got only like 2.5 inches out here where I live, but Dogtown? They got over TEN INCHES. Dude - I'll take Washington in that respect right now. :-p

At least most everyone is in agreement on bed.... I wanted to sleep in, but the Evil One's phone went off, then he kept coming by to talk to me and all I wanted to do was sleeeeep.

Tired of the antibiotics and the almost daily commute down to St. Mary's Hosp.

[identity profile] sabaceanbabe.livejournal.com 2008-03-09 02:14 am (UTC)(link)
Dude. 21 inches today. And Spots only stands about 14 inches tall. Poor, silly dog.

[identity profile] trinalin.livejournal.com 2008-03-09 03:07 am (UTC)(link)
Not just the folks in Hamilton - some of us further north summoned the 10-12" of snow in Ohio. :-)

[identity profile] zahdahe.livejournal.com 2008-03-09 08:15 am (UTC)(link)
You have snow? We're not getting snow, it kind of wet yeuch and warm springish type weather with really hearty gale force winds. Night then approaches and the temp drops to below 0 degrees and body parts start to protest.
